Recently a new life was brought into this family. It is a true gift from God. I feel compelled to teach every and all things that I have learned to my family. Thus is the cycle of life. As different as all our lives seem, they are so very identical. Life and death are inevitable. All of us have a choice no matter what environment we were brought into. The beautiful thing about life is that you can change the direction that you are headed at any time. To many times I am approached by people who have accepted the bad hand that they have been dealt in life. Those people have ether blamed their situation on someone or a situation. You see, life has options and you have one chance to live your passion. I have many people that I give advice to that have started with the attitude that they have to many things that they can't change. When I ask them to give me an example they almost always have the same answer; "I don't have enough money to change my life" or "anyways it's to late for me". Let's address the first response. When I first started out I didn't know what I was going to do. I did not go to college until I was in my 30's but I knew that at a young age I was going to be successful no matter what it took! I had no money to speak of but had tons of ambition. What I found out was, that life is tough! I never gave up, made my mistakes, but found a way to succeed! You will make many mistakes but YOU MUST LEARN from them. DO NOT LET your failures destroy the rest of your life. YOU MUST brush off the dust and get back on the horse! If you do not act on your failures, they will consume you like a cancer. Make things happen and all other things find a way to fit in. I think we put that to rest! On to the second comment. The truth is it's not to late for most people! Let me give an example; the average life expectancy of a male in the USA is 76 and 81 for all females! The average range of people I talk to are about 30 to 50 years old. Lets do some math. 30 year old people have 61 % of their life left if they are male and 63% of their life left if they are female. They have not even lived half their lives but are willing to give up already and live the life that they are unhappy with! Once the facts are laid out it doesn't make much of an argument does it? Now, lets take a look at the 50 year old. They have 34 % of their life left if they are male and 38% of their life left if they are a female. I am 52 years old and I am taking advantage of the full 31.6 % of life that I have left! How? I am keeping myself in shape, changing it up everyday, taking myself out of my comfort zone, and never giving up!
I want to encourage you to live this one life with the passion that consumes you. Act on it and become it! Life is short and should be enjoyed with the ones you love. But remember to make others happy, you must be happy with yourself.
God Bless,
Terry Spencer
